MEET DAHIAN
Dahian Velásquez understands that true luxury is defined by the quality of materials, technical precision in design, and the ability to highlight the uniqueness of every woman.
Every journey and every experience have left a lasting impression on the creative vision of her house.
Dahian has experienced and explored different cultures—from her home country of Colombia to New Zealand, New York, Brazil, Shanghai, and Europe.
Her interest in fashion led her to the Istituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona to study and to refine her skills in Milan Her creative vision and her ability to lead large projects were decisive for her development as a designer.
A key moment in her career was when the renowned Textile house Jakob Schläpfer St. Gallen sponsored her graduation project—an event that cemented her fascination with exclusive fabrics, which today are central elements of her collections.
Among the defining moments, one stands out in particular: designing a wedding dress in less than two weeks—the moment she discovered her true passion for bridal fashion.
In the year 2016 founded Dahian Velásquez together with her sister Viviana Velásquez, co‑founder and current head of the brand for Latin America, her atelier based in Bogotá.
Opening in Zurich
In the heart of the historic Old Town of Zurich, surrounded by iconic brands such as Valentino, Céline, Hermès, Akris and Cartier, the boutique offers an intimate and highly personal fashion experience.
For more than four years, the house has welcomed brides from around the world. Their weddings range from Sicilian-themed weddings in Italy to civil ceremonies in the city and traditional ceremonies in the Middle East.
Here, luxury reveals itself not only in the collection designs, but also in the time and meticulous attention that Dahian devotes to every bride.
